I remember months ago sitting by the clock tower at school; talking with my friend Katie. We talked about the tragic situations that were our lives and the choices that we were making. Then we talked about God and his role in all of it. Needless to say, we viewed God through very different sets of eyes.
But, our God is a redeemer. He picks us up out of the darkness that we often live in and brings us into light. That is exactly what He did with Katie. From the conversation that Katie and I had at the clock tower, to the conversation that we had two nights ago; it's hard for me to say that she is the same person. She is living her life for Christ, she is following His path of righteousness for her and she is using the gifts he's given her to bring His kingdom to this earth. It brings tears to my eyes to see what Christ has done in her heart. She is a beautiful and new creation.
She is a follower of Christ.
He has redeemed her.
Her story will bring many people to know Him.
I can't wait to see the fruit.
